sma Welcome to the Jungle My friend from work told me about The Legwarmers. I just saw them for the first time at the Fairfax City Fall festival(10/13). Wow, they were "like" totally awesome, radical and more. Even though they had mic and instrument probs, they still rocked! I felt like I was living in the 80's again. I have to say I really enjoyed their versions of the harder/rockin' songs like GNR, Van Halen, AC/DC and even the soft rock Journey. I would "like" definitely(I remember saying like frequently then)see The Legwarmers a

Lindsay Party like its 1986 So, I just celebrated my 21st with The Legwarmers--dare I say, best birthday EVER. True, I may have worn onesies in the 80s--but me and my party bus had a fantastic time AGAIN at the best show in DC, by far! THANKS for making my life complete, just saying... ps--J.R. (aka "Rad") you're awesome!!

Mary Made my weekend JR PI and Clarence McFly = the best dancers out there. Totally made my night. Gorden Gartrell is dreamy. That plus the solid vocals/guitar made for a HOT number. Went to the show with low expectations (seen too many "tribute" bands that have sucked) but you guys are AMAZING. Will come to another show soon.

The Mammalian Take me home tonight... I'm not one to gush -- OK, I am -- but ohmygod could The Legwarmers have been any better this June weekend at the State? Back to back shows are worrisome for any band, but the Warmers got better set by set, night by night. By the time of the second set on Saturday night, the place was in total metal rapture. I've never seen the balcony so full, the crowd so into it, the roar at the end so superstar intense. Yes, these are local heroes writ large, but the majesty of these performances can not be ignored. Highlights of the two nights included the return of 'Walk This Way' by Legs D.M.C., some particularly strong vocals by Cyndi and Ricki, precise 'Jump's by the boys and the ever reliable bottom thunder from Curtis and Chet. Gordon's solo and guitar throughout 'Rebel Yell' would make even Billy Idol curl his lip approvingly! This is great stuff, these Legwarmers shows, and even five years after we first saw them, the 80s get bigger and better in their capable hands. MTV was about videos. These shows are about the music. What's that noise indeede! M 'Just like Ronnie sang...'

Catherine Rams Head Live- 06/09- RADICAL! Totally dug the show Saturday night. I believe I'm possibly stuck in a personal love triangle with Cyndi and Gordon... but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. Definitely seeing you closer to home here in FC. LOVE IT! -www.myspace.com/ceejay413
